Canada Day Family Photo Session

Holly and her husband Jon are friends with my oldest brother and back in 2010, Holly had won a family photo session through a silent auction from a local CIBC for their CIBC Run for the Cure fundraiser. Holly contacted me and we did a Christmas family photo session at this same location actually (doesn’t matter what season it is, the place looks gorgeous all year round!)

This time, Holly contacted me to do a family photo session with her whole family. It was Canada Day and they were having a big party with their family and friends later on that day, so we had some time before hand to get some great family shots!

Anniversary Couple's Photo Session

Last year, I was contacted by one of Sally and Peter’s daughters about a couple’s photo session. Their children wanted to purchase a gift certificate for their parents 30th Wedding Anniversary. Sally contacted me this past month to book their session and we went down to Vista Park for some beautiful summer shots! Sally and Peter reminded me so much of young school kids just so in love! They had nothing but smiles, cuddles and cute kisses for one another. It was so nice to meet these two, they were so friendly and so much fun! Congratulations on 30 years and here’s to many more!

Family Portrait Session

I’ve had the pleasure of shooting this little cutie’s family, not once but twice now! This time with his Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle! Although it was such a warm day and he seemed tired, and not so full of smiles… we had a fun time getting him to smile throughout the shoot and ended up with some cute photos to prove it!

Krystle & Justin May 2011 Wedding

Second blog of the year…. don’t worry there will be tons more to come. Enjoy!

Krystle and Justin were my first engagement session of the year (back in February) and my first wedding to shoot as well. They were married beginning of May at Parkwood Estate in Oshawa. It was a small wedding full of close family and friends. Krystle was so cute as she was incredibly nervous (mainly trying to not cry during the ceremony). Justin had nothing but smiles on his face when he saw her. These two were so fun to work with and each photo of them you could just see how in love with the other they are. It was a beautiful day and I wish you both many years of happiness together! Congratulations! Enjoy your sneak peek!

First off, thanks for stopping by! This is my first blog entry and I hope to continue with it. I’ll be using this to show off my recent work. So keep checking back as 2011 is going to be my busiest year yet!

On another note, here is a glance at a recent photo session and a new style to my portfolio actually. I have had many people ask me if I do this style of shoot (boudoir) and in the past my answer was ‘no, sorry I do not’. However, I recently got to thinking about it and I thought why not? So I gave it a try! A gorgeous friend of mine, Samantha offered to help me out, and so she was my model for this shoot. I wanted to have a sexy but classy look and was quite happy with the results. A big thank-you to Lisa  who did Samantha’s lovely make-up and helped me capture the look and style I was going for. Boudoir photos make a women feel beautiful inside and out. They also make a perfect gift for that special some one ;)

Take a look and contact me if you are interested in doing your own boudoir photo session.

Stayed tuned for a introductory price starting mid-May…(limited time offer!!)

Enjoy the first blog ;)
(comments are always welcome!)

Enjoy this gorgeous spring weekend… finally!!
