Wedding Tip Tuesday: Bridesmaid Dresses

When it comes to planning your wedding, one of the first things people start to think of is their colour scheme - this sets the tone for the entire day and can be easy to think about once you’ve narrowed down a season the wedding will take place in.
The first colour scheme ideas are often dresses for the bridesmaids - I always love when the Bride includes her girls in the planning process by allowing them to pick their dress, either from a few styles the bride has maybe already chosen or maybe just the fabric and let’s the girls pick what they feel most comfortable in. Although it is your wedding day, the bridesmaids should feel comfortable in their dress since they will also be wearing it all day - and it really shows in photos when bridesmaids are uncomfortable. Same rules apply for the bride when picking her own wedding dress. How often do we get this dolled up? It’s only natural to want to feel beautiful from head to toe!

Below are some styles that either all bridesmaids wore or they mix and matched. If you are trying to think what to do for your girls, hopefully this gives you some inspiration! Every body type is different so one dress may not work for all the girls, and that’s okay! Sometimes it does, but sometimes it works to throw in some variety but still keep with the same colour scheme.

Happy planning!
