I grew up down the street from Sara and her family. Sara use to babysit us the odd time too! We reconnected on facebook this past year and she noticed I was a photographer so she contacted me regarding her Wedding. I was honoured and excited as I knew a few people at the Wedding as well! Her sister, Emily whose Wedding is this September which I have the honour of capturing as well. Her parents, who I haven’t seen in years, it was nice to see everyone again!
Sara and Shane had the perfect little country Wedding in the backyard of the house she grew up in. It was full of close family and friends, and gorgeous backdrops! Once their ceremony was done we went across the street into the field for some country shots… I was in love! I miss that view so much. Going outside on the front porch and seeing the field right infront of our house.. it’s how I grew up and where everything started with my photography. The house we lived in, the property we had, and the country scenery all around. It was great to be back there and doing something that I love. Sara and Shane, you picked the perfect spot for your Wedding! Despite being one of the hottest days of the summer.. I think it was a beautiful day.
I hope you both enjoy the sneak peek photos.. and wish you nothing but happiness for many years to come!!
Very country chic! Loved her dress and veil (which she put together!!)
The most sweetest first kiss! Nothing but smiles :)
The sweet look of love!
What can I say? I was in love with the wheat fields!! :D
Her sister made the cake… I thought it was so cute, especially the two birds!
